If you're interested in implementing AI and/or build custom applications for your farm, ranch, or ag business, we're launching another cohort of AIonYourFarm.com next week. All sessions are recorded along with a comprehensive set of resources and pre-work. We'd love to have you joing us!

Here is newest pictures. New trifoliates starting to show cupping and edge burning. Retailer sprayed corn with Armezon and rifle before spraying these.
The story is unfolding a bit more. Had some chem reps out and they do not think it had anything to do with outlook, but some potential other chem that may have gotten stuck in a filter or something and ended up damaging the crop. Chem was applied by local retailer. Will keep you posted!

With Claude Fable 5 dropping yesterday, I finally had the nudge I needed to wrap up the farm website. It's not perfect, but it tells the story of what we're building at Nineteen14 Farms โ€” the farming, the stewardship, and the AI farm office behind it. Would love honest feedback. nineteen14farms.com/

Seeing, what I think to be, Outlook damage on black turtle dry beans. Thought it was supposed to be pretty safe as a pre emerge? Some of these might have been just below the surface when I sprayed. Anyone else see damage from Outlook as a pre?

I feel this to the core! Wanted to farm the whole county when I was 20. I also am having trouble letting go of perfection in exchange for consistency and โ€œgood enoughโ€ with the season of life my family and I are in as well.
Feel like my ambition has really waned in the last 5-6 years. In my mid 20โ€™s I wanted to conquer the world, now just want my wife and kids to be happy and healthy Anyone else feel this too?

Most farmers I know have a ton of paper documents. Just a few examples: invoices, fertilizer records, crop plans, grain marketing contracts, etc. Paperless NGX is an open-source document storage platform that converts all of your documents and their contents into a digital format (using OCR to read text and even handwriting). But in my opinion, it's missing two things: 1. Semantic search that finds results based on meaning and topic, rather than exact keyword matches. 2. Connectivity with AI tools. So we've built a free tool that we're giving away to the Fullstack Ag community, and we're calling it Paperless Ag. It combines semantic search with an MCP. It's taking us a little longer than what I was hoping for, but we should have it launched to the community this week.

Would if I said every single VRT application file for my farm this year was produced though Claude. I finalized through my GIS software to ensure accuracy and small tweak, but 99% was done with Claude code. ๐Ÿคฏ

I'm just going to leave this here... github.com/karpathy/llm-counโ€ฆ Figure out how to build this for your own farm, or business using the LLM of your choice, and it will make you feel like you have a super power on your team. Will presenting my findings in the "AI on Your Farm" corhort series this week.

For all your local apps that you donโ€™t need or want to pay hosting for, take a look at @Tailscale. Allows your phone to see a locally hosted app. Pretty sweet if youโ€™re the only one using the app. This lives on my computer, but I can view on my phone from anywhere.
