Duvan Tomas Perez, killed working in a poultry plant. Michael Schuls, killed working at a logging company. Will Hampton, killed working at a landfill. This is why child labor laws exist. Companies can't be allowed to turn to kids when adults refuse to work for poverty wages.

A major child labor rollback goes into effect in Iowa this weekend. 14 year-olds are now allowed to work in meat coolers, 15 year-olds can join assembly lines and 16 year-olds can serve alcohol. In a few weeks, similar rollbacks take effect in Arkansas. who13.com/news/new-iowa-laws…

This is a story that the national media needs to pay attention to, immediately. Tulsa still has nearly 200k people with no power, stores running out of gas & ice and temps getting close to 100 today.
