Hello! Today we're releasing Paper Desktop Paper is now a canvas for Cursor, Claude Code, Codex. Any agent can read and write html to Paper. • push or pull from your codebase • pull real data from anywhere • less work, more design What will you ship? Sound on 🎶

I’ve been meaning to redesign my portfolio for over a year, and I ended up exploring seven different approaches in one afternoon!👀 Paper is an infinite design canvas where every design is already HTML and CSS, so agents like Claude Code and Cursor can work on it directly via the MCPs. I used Paper’s Snapshot Chrome extensions to turn my portfolio into editable layers and then ran Claude Code for seven layout directions, all laid out side by side on one canvas. That let me compare them for real and finally decide on a new design style. Definitely check them out!❤️ @paper

Alana was literally the first person to believe in Paper (long before it was called Paper!) She is a true builder, something rare in investors.
5 things @alanaagoyal does differently > solo gp that commits code every single day > doesn't take pitch meetings > runs her agents in cmux on top of @mitchellh's ghostty > built her personal website using a dozen of her own portco's products > automated her investor updates without AI writing ep 4 of show me your stack is live!

Excited by Fable 5 in Paper My takeaways so far: - It's NOT fast, that's for sure - The results are more thoughtful Designs feel more balanced, fewer unique typography styles, contrast looks improved against previous models.

Come explore Fable 5 vs. Opus in Paper Which model did better work here?

someone asked me why Paper shipped a pen tool instead of components the pen tool started last October at Paper we work as one person on a project for deep focus feels strange in this AI era but if you look back, we're shipping quality work faster than any design tool ever

The secret to shipping consistently: Moving with deliberation. According to @rsms, Figma may ship relentlessly but in practice, that velocity often came from one person spending a year on a single project. Staggered, deeply intentional work creates the effect of speed.

components and tokens are on their own tracks and will ship soon too I don't know that we could make these types of projects go faster by adding more people, at least not while maintaining the quality level we aspire to

shipping code was not the bottleneck making useful software takes taste, user empathy, and hard decisions design is how you rise above the noise
Massive output uptick due to agentic AI. Complete flat adoption.

Good morning! The Pen Tool is live in Paper Draw shapes, generate SVGs, or vectorize images, and edit the points and paths. Paper uses real SVGs so exports are 1:1, no surprises. The new SVG workflow: create → refine → ship. Try it out! And show us what you draw.

Our friends at @paper are changing design. They're betting on HTML and CSS. Teams, agents, code, and data live on a single design space built on web standards, so nothing gets lost in translation.
