Educators - can we eliminate words like “low kids” from our language? All kids deserve access to grade-level content and an adult who believes they are capable of learning it. Let’s stop playing the role of gatekeepers because we think they’re not ready.

Just because it isn’t surprising, doesn’t mean this isn’t a crisis. The system didn’t work for our most vulnerable students pre-Covid and it really isn’t working for them now. We need more than a reform mindset. We need to redesign the whole damn system. npr.org/2022/10/24/113062913…

Hey @IFlyRhodeIsland - a long term lot shuttle driver just asked me why I was wearing a mask and informed me that “I don’t have to wear that thing anymore.” Please tell your drivers to mind their own business. He made my ride highly uncomfortable.

My partner is on Day 10 of his Covid quarantine. He’s still testing positive on rapids. Do we continue to mask in the house? I’m tired of the air mattress life and would like to return to our bed, but not if he’s still contagious. My internet research shows mixed opinions…

Why does the smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector only start the low battery beep in the middle of the night? Is it just me? Or are my alarms purposely trying to wake my kids up at 3am 🥴😵💫?
