77 years ago today, the OEEC—predecessor to the OECD—was created to administer the Marshall Plan and support Europe’s post-war recovery. In 1961, it became the OECD, promoting global development, shared prosperity & better policies for better lives.

Wages are catching up despite subdue economic growth but, in real terms, they are still below the pre cost-of-living crisis of 2021. Wage moderation has contributed to limit job losses and labour market are indeed still buoyant, workers’ living standards are trailing back.

#RealWages are now rising in almost all OECD countries, but in two-thirds of them, workers still haven’t regained the purchasing power lost since early 2021.

New survey on the use of #algorithm to manage (AM) workers: 6000 companies in 🇫🇷, 🇩🇪🇮🇹🇯🇵🇪🇸🇺🇸focusing on instruction, monitoring and evaluation. It shows that AM is widespread. 🇺🇸managers use 10 tools, 3-5 tools in 🇪🇺and 1 in 🇯🇵.
