🇷🇺 RUSSIAN TU-22M3 BOMBER CRASHES IN IRKUTSK A Russian Tu-22M3 supersonic strategic bomber, valued at around $200 million, yesterday crashed in the Irkutsk region. Aircraft of this type have played a major role in Russia’s long-range missile campaign against Ukraine for more than four years. The crash removes another costly platform from a fleet central to Moscow’s ability to strike Ukrainian cities from distance.

A Russian military convoy — dozens of fuel tankers, KamAZ trucks loaded with weapons and ammunition, and various other supplies — left Berdyansk and headed toward the front line in the Kherson region. Then, suddenly, out of nowhere, combat “Hornet” drones swooped in and turned the entire convoy into a pile of burned-out scrap metal. What makes it even more remarkable is that the convoy had not even managed to leave the suburban area of Berdyansk before it was hit. I can only imagine the looks on the faces of the Russian soldiers. At least those who still had time to be surprised.
