Farming under attack in the Ukraine. @DutchFarmerInUA tells me that food is at a crisis point in some areas and farmers are thinking of planting this spring but so much has to happen for it to be completed safely and farmers are running short of critical supplies themselves.

Wild Geese in Illinois test positive for eurasian h5 avian influenza according to @ILAgriculture. The 3 geese were in Will County.
The state has not seen any Avian Flu in backyard or commercial poultry within the state this year.
