Man this Knicks bunch is insane. Spurs definitely assisted in choking that game away but glad to see that the Dude that has been the unsung hero for them the whole postseason had his game and his moment. OG is that Dude!

1st Bus Ride of the year in the books at LMU and several guys performed well but the one who stood out the most and takes home the first CC award of the Summer is Julian Gutierrez. Check out video of him getting robbed of extra bases on 1st Swing of the day.

This is Baseball and if this weekend has showed you anything it is that in the game of Baseball there are no Cake Walks. In FB and Basketball you can out size and out athlete people. In Baseball the game doesn’t care about any of that. Don’t disagree with you on re-racking though
We really need re-seeding.
1 & 2 are both out.
UGA who is 3 gets probably one of the toughest super regionals, while your 7 seeds get absolute cakewalks lol.

Those phase 1 guys have deals done before they ever hit the portal. Thats why many enter as Do not Contact.

The Transfer Portal isn’t fair.
It’s a pecking order.
Just like free agency or the MLB Draft:
The best guys go first. The money dries up fast.
And some players never find a home.
I recruited D1 baseball. I recruited the portal. I made mistakes, got some right, and missed on some too.
Here’s how I see it:
Phase 1: A players
Impact guys. Clear upgrades. Real money. Programs move fast.
Phase 2: B players
Experienced, solid college players. Still scholarship-level, but more lateral moves.
Phase 3: C players
Low scholarship. Maybe a roster spot. Typically lower conference or dropping a level. Fit has to be specific.
Phase 4: D players
This is where it gets hard. A lot don’t find another home. Not because they’re bad kids, but because they misread the market.
The portal is not one big group with equal opportunity.
If you enter without knowing where you realistically fit, you can get exposed fast and get frustrated.
For most portal entrants, it’s a giant leap of faith.
Just trying to give you my perspective on it. Good luck to all... players and coaches. It'll be a crazy next 60 days.

No big surprises here. We wound up debating Mississippi State vs. Arkansas last night and thought the Hogs had a better case, with a head-to-head series win vs. MSU, and an 18-12 Q1 record (compared with MSU's 9-14). But the committee seemed to value RPI more (MSU 12, Ark 21).

Truly a blast being on the call for 10 games over the last 4 days for @ConferenceUSA . Our Crew at KSU is one of a kid. Big thanks to @NolanRAlexander for giving me the chance as a Broadcaster when I stepped off the field Coaching 5 years ago!
