On Apr. 18, St. Mary participated in its first ever Home-School-Parish mass at St. Thomas the Apostle. Thank you to our students, staff, parents and Father Francis for beginning this meaningful tradition and strengthening the faith of our community.

Their team joined us once a week, working with our Grade 9 & 10 boys and girls Phys Ed classes and supporting Indigenous Education through lacrosse.

We came together on Orange Shirt Day to learn about the meaning behind the orange shirt and its reminder that every child matters. Through reflection, learning, and community, we continue to walk the path of healing and reconciliation with our Indigenous communities.
On September 30, 2025, the HWCDSB will recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day by wearing orange shirts and allocating a portion of the day for learning and reflecting about Truth and Reconciliation.
