TOLEDO TOY SHOW is outstanding! It’s a perfect Sunday at the Toledo rec center. Two huge rooms, 250 dealers of classic toys of yesteryear! Found a key issue of Captain America in the $1 bin that had been signed by the author! (Mark Gruenwald)

ANNUAL NERD PILGRIMAGE-to Motor City Comic Con! Vendors are really making deals this year! I’ve scored a silver age Batman for $7 and a bronze age for $14. Plus I finally found the Mego type Clark Kent figure I’ve been wanting for just $15. Best this con has been for some years!

Beautiful day for comic book & classic toy hunting at the Findlay Flea market! Weather is perfect! I scored 2 Batman books from the 70’s and 80’s and Superman from the 90’s to round out my collection! (Plus 1/2 dozen home made Baklava to round out the rest of me!

Had a great time at Fantasticon in Toledo Oh. Ran into many of my students, both present and past. Scored some comics for my collection and finally got a Cyborg Superman figure that I’ve been hunting for over a year!
