Paeroa Wineera of Ngāti Raukawa was known as the last person who knew how to play traditional tunes on the kōauau. This interview in 1961 has two tunes she played. Mervyn McLean's book "Tō Tātuau Waka" has these tunes and the waiata it accompanied on CD. ngataonga.org.nz/search-use-…
