Capcom Confirms Its Attendance at Gamescom 2026! 🌿
Capcom has officially announced that it will once again be attending Gamescom 2026, the world’s largest video game event, which will take place in Cologne, Germany, from August 26 to 30, with the opening ceremony scheduled for the 25th. The company will have its own booth and has promised to bring several new announcements, playable demos, and updates on its most anticipated titles.
This participation is generating high expectations, especially following last year’s event with Resident Evil Requiem, which had its first playable version at the 2025 edition. Following that same trend, all signs point to Resident Evil Veronica, the remake announced for 2027, taking center stage this year. It is expected that the gaming press will be able to try it out and that the first public gameplay footage will be shown, just as was the case with its predecessor.
In addition to the highly anticipated return of Claire Redfield, the company may also showcase other major titles such as: Onimusha: Way of the Sword (scheduled for release in September 2026), Pragmata, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, updates on Street Fighter 6, or perhaps more information about the Resident Evil Requiem story DLC.
Without a doubt, this will be a key event for fans of the Resident Evil series and the company’s entire catalog.
