Core is an approximation from an era with slow and sometimes non-existent reperfusion (when recanalization was the aim); today with 90% reperfusion and under 90min door to reperfusion, core imaging is not reliable! #5T19 #stroke @5tStroke @bijoymenon @CPDerdeyn

So curious how the absolute core values of perfusion were used either by dawn and defuse trials, and not Tmax or mismatch parameters! The core may be the less reliable of all perfusion parameters.
