Meelo is a 5 year old male Beagle. He is looking for a new home due to a sudden change in his owners life. He was looking for a home with another dog from the home but sadly despite 9 appeals there was no offers for them and their owners circumstances mean they cannot keep Meelo much longer. His heartbroken owner has asked us to find a home for Meelo. Meelo travels well in the car and likes to meet new people. He would suit someone who has a secure garden. Meelo likes treats and is not fussy with dog food. He is registered at the vets and healthy with no medical issues. He has never been around cats before and may bark at other dogs. WE DID IT! 🎉🐶 Ridglan Farms is shutting down after decades of breeding for animal testing. Soon, 2000 beagles will be in loving homes❤️ BFP was honored to help place 568 of these dogs. Thank you to every donor, volunteer, foster, adopter, rescue partner, & activist involved.

Ridglan is closing down, and all the dogs should soon be freed! I just posted this to our rescuer network. This would not have happened without our supporters on social media. Y'all were a key part of this—and will be a key part of the victories to come!

People always ask me about my own dog Hank the Tank and what his story was. This is how I found him. A huge hole in his neck full of maggots and owners who didn’t want him. Their loss if you ask me ❤️

Lady is a 5 year old female Central Asian Shepherd. She is available and would suit a home with someone who understands the breed or has had bigger dogs previously.  Lady isn't keen on other dogs. She has lived with another dog she was fond of, but isn't keen on strange dogs outside of the home.  Lady is great with humans and loves to meet new people. She loves getting patted and attention.  Lady is chipped and spayed and healthy with no medical issues.  She is fed a protein diet of fish protein and kibble as she can have a sensitive stomach.  Lady can be left on her own but may bark to begin with, she will soon settle down.  She likes to be near her owners at bed time.  Lady is fine in the car and great around kids. Due to her size we'd suggest older children from 8 .  Lady is registered at the vets and walks well on the lead. Astrid is a 5 year old female German Shepherd x Belgian Malinois. She is available and looking for a new home. 
Astrid is chipped and spayed and also healthy with no medical issues. 
She would suit a home with someone who is active and can give her plenty of walks and attention. 
Astrid eats a mix of wet and dry food and can be left on her own. 
She travels well in the van with her dog walker but can be car sick. She sleeps in her owners room at night either on the bed or her own bed on the floor. 
Astrid likes to meet new people and gets excited. She would be fine around teenagers but not small children. 
Astrid doesn’t like cats. She is registered with the vets. 
She is fine on group walks but when she is with her owner she can be reactive to other dogs as she thinks she is protecting her owner. 
A home with no other animals is best for Astrid and her needs. 
She is use to spending time alone at home with background music left on for her. Astrid is excellent at letting you know when she needs the toilet. She is kept on a lead when out on walks as she can be reactive to other dogs but not all dogs. Can we please ask you to Share for Axl? He’s not had any enquiries at all. We cover the whole of Scotland and beyond for the right home. Axl is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd Cross Rottweiler.  He is good with older kids but will bark at other dogs.  Axl is in need of a new home through no fault of his own.  He is chipped and chemically neutered.  Axl is healthy with no medical issues.  He eats a mix of wet and dry food and is also crate trained.  He sleeps in his crate and is registered at the vets.  Axl is okay in the car and will bark at people to begin with but will settle.  He would be best without other dogs or cats in a home.  Ideally he would suit someone who can give him further training.  Axl is vaccinated.  For more information or to offer a new home please email info@help2rehome.com

Can you please share for Teddy? Teddy is a 4 year old male Cockapoo. He is available and looking for a new home. Teddy would be suitable to a man who is looking for a companion. He seems to listen to men more than women. He hasn't been around other dogs/children. Teddy eats both wet and dry food and sleeps in his own bed at night. He can pull on the lead to begin with but soon settles down into his walk. Teddy travels well in the car, he likes to poke his head out the window for some fresh air. He is also registered at the vets and up to date with all of his vaccinations. Teddy loves treats and chews. He also likes the occasional cooked meat or cheese. His recall is good if you have something he likes. Teddy is familiar with boarding kennels and settles in with no issues. He is groomed every 6-8 weeks and is always well behaved. He will go to his new home with everything to settle him in. Teddy is not destructive and can be left alone. He would suit a male only household with no other pets. We are desperately looking for a new home for Junior but haven't had any luck at all with his appeals. Can you please share to help him on his way? Junior is a 6 month old Malinois cross Mastiff. He is available and looking for a new home through no fault of his own. Junior would be best in a home with no other pets due to his size and dominance over other dogs. He is young enough to be trained however we will be very specific in his new home as we'd like someone who is use to the breed and can demonstrate that they can train him and offer him the guidance he needs. Junior hasn't been around kids much. He would be best with older children of a teenage age due to his size. He is chipped and eats meat pouches and biscuits. Junior is use to being left on his own for any length of time and is great meeting new people. He hasn't met any cats. Junior is okay on the lead but will need training with this.
