We saved Steve's site at GE Rugby by building a strong campaign with the support of other GE sites and politicians nationally as well as the support of trade unions in GE across Europe. The site now employs over 800 people - 3 times as many as in 2019 - and is growing fast. A collective effort that shows by standing together we can save our sites.

With @SimonDubbins67 , Unite can get back to all three pillars of our union: 1️⃣ Organising 2️⃣ International Solidarity 3️⃣ Politics These principles remind us of our roots and the need to organise collectively to meet the challenges facing working people. #Dubbins4GS
My industrial work has taken me across the UK, Ireland, and around the world. I have seen the power of unity, friendship and solidarity in action. This is what a new start for our union looks like. Watch & listen!

These pledges will guide our industrial work across our union’s many sectors. That work starts by listening to and supporting reps & members.

Our union must always show full solidarity with any union rep under attack. An attack on one of us is an attack on all of us. Solidarity with Richard at Southampton docks.

“We do not load death.” Dockworkers’ unions from more than 35 ports sign joint declaration calling for an end to Israel’s genocide and apartheid against Palestinians and for a day of international struggle of dockworkers in October.

Unite Construction members need a General secretary that will support the whole sector. #ConstructionWorkers4Dubbins #dubbins4gs
Great to meet Trevor, Convenor at Canary Wharf, to see the real difference a strong union can make on site. The mental health crisis, and other urgent issues facing our construction members, will not be ignored.

My pledge to you: If elected I will not be taking the General Secretary’s salary or any pay increase. I will open the books to end years of secrecy. A new start for our union begins with transparency and accountability.

I am fully supporting @SimonDubbins67 to be our next GS, the sector im so passionate about @Unite_Community has been forgotten, a continuous battle for our amazing coords and members, what other sector would wait 2 plus years for a National Officer?

Another ‘rare’ and utterly unwelcome intervention from Tony Blair. Attacking the working protections won by unions won’t deliver any kind of economic growth that matters to people. Labour must ignore his siren calls and back workers with a second employment rights bill focused on secure jobs and raising pay.
