A shout out to Kiwi Dairy Farmers; DCANZ data shows that April ‘23s milk production is the largest April on record, beating April 21s production by 2.5mil kgMS. A real sprint to the end of the season, closing the season to date deficit down to 0.2% from last season! Nice! #dairy

Easy to see why Waikato cows are producing so well! Grass everywhere, and cows in good condition! January milk production on track to exceed last years figures at this point in time!

It really bugs me when journalists and now Kiwisaver fund managers, compare Fonterra to Kerry Group in Ireland. Kerry was a terrible idea for farmer suppliers, who are now price takers and regret selling out, unlike Co-Op owners/suppliers of Fonterra 1/2

Fonterra will always struggle to be as efficient as a listed company, this is the tradeoff of being a Co-Operative. But voicing dislike of Fonterra because Kiwisaver doesn't have access is the most irrational take I've heard yet. Bigger economical impacts without a Co-Op...
