Metis class have had a fantastic day at Trowbridge Museum continuing their learning all about old toys. We got to see lots of old toys including a clockwork truck, a china doll and a jack in the box. We played shove ha’penny and made a Victorian wonder spinner 🧸🪁🪆
Titan Class had a wonderful day in Bradford-on-Avon learning about the River Avon, the Kennet and Avon Canal, the Tithe Barn and the Anglo-Saxon Church.
We have been busy in Pandora in the last few weeks. Before half term, we were artists and designers, building Baby Bear’s chair and using our choice of medium to create our pictures. This week we have been scientists, exploring different materials.

On this weeks visit to Manor Court the Eco team learnt about bees. They searched for them and planted sunflowers. The team found young spiders, Sunflies, Early bumble bees, red tailed bees, while tailed bees, Arion slugs, three bar slug, stink beetle and a Cinnbar moth.

In Pandora Class, we created posters to show our understanding of halves and quarters. We know that the denominator is the number at the bottom of the fraction and the numerator is the number at the top!
Metis and Atlas class had a visit today from @TransWiltsCIC @platform_rail for their pre travel workshop. Where they learnt all about how to be safe on the train when travelling to Weymouth. We can’t wait for our trip on Monday 🚝🛤🏖
