The next war won't be won by armies, navies or air forces alone. It'll be won by the country whose 19 year olds can code, whose factories can build drones in weeks not years, and whose grid stays on when someone tries to switch it off. Industry. Society. Economy. That's the fight now. We're not ready. And we're not being honest about what getting ready will cost.

🇮🇳 The Indian Navy just pulled a live missile warhead out of an oil tanker's fuel tank. MT Olympic Life was hit near Oman on May 26 while carrying 2 million barrels of oil toward Kochi. Here is what actually happened 👇 • The tanker was struck 60 nautical miles east of Muscat while exiting the Gulf of Oman • Crew continued the voyage toward Kochi after the strike • A live warhead was found lodged deep inside one of the fuel tanks • Navy's Southern Command EOD team took 7 days to safely extract it without detonation • The warhead is now at a naval facility for forensic examination This was not just a rescue mission. It was a 7 day operation inside a floating fuel tank that could have gone wrong at any second. 🇮🇳 The Navy did not just save a ship. It may have just got its hands on a major intelligence find.

Corruption or Conspiracy to stall development? Admiral DK Joshi wears many hats. * Lieutenant Governor Andaman & Nicobar Islands. * Vice Chairman Island Development Agency. * Former Chief of Naval Staff * Former CINCAN (Commander in Chief Andaman & Nicobar Command) He is in midst of the Chakravyuh of allegations around the Great Nicobar Island Development project. Catch the full 40 minute long conversation on @IndiaToday He responds to all allegations of Tribal Displacement, Deforestation & afforestation, a single industrialist being benefitted, due process not followed, no strategic gains & more... But will those who make allegations answer one question: * If this project gives Bharat an advantage over China & countries in the region, why stall Development that projects India's Comprehensive National Power... #Chakravyuh #podcast #IndiaFirst

The 'indigenisation saga' of IN began in the 1950s with creation of 'Naval Constructors' branch for Ship & Sub design. Then, in the 1970s-1980s came WESEE & ATVP where the IN is in the 'drivers seat'. And finally came the Directorate of Indigenisation at NHQ in abt 2000.
Without the @IAF_MCC in the driver’s seat, we won’t get the Fifth-generation #AMCA fighter in realistic timelines. Just as we wouldn’t have got the Arihant, Arighat, Aridaman and Arisudan if @indiannavy didn’t drive the ATV project over 4 decades. I write for @IndiaToday on the AMCA’s empty cockpit.

2) The IN has done well in indigenous production of warships fm patrol boats to aircraft carriers. Next, apart fm ongoing indigenous SSBNs, is home designed & home built SSNs & SSKs. The path to 'make in India' has taken the IN over 6 decades of perseverance, faith & hard work.

Why are nations racing to militarise space? Space began as a military domain long before it became a commercial one, answers Dr Ranjana Kaul, VP, International Institute of Space Law. "Immediately after the end of the Second World War, the United States and the Soviet Union established military space programmes," she explains. Just 12 years later came Sputnik, launching the space age and triggering the space race. But now rivalry for military advantage is intensifying, reshaping the global security landscape. So, how can this competition be regulated? And what must the world do in an era of anti-satellite weapons, military satellites, and growing great-power rivalry?
