Is this what they call opportunity cost?
How to lose $600 million: Step 1: Get a message from Cursor CEO in 2022 Step 2: Don't see it Step 3: Don't respond Step 4: Don't help with content Step 5: Don't negotiate for 1% advisory shares Step 6: Cursor sells for $60 billion Step 7: You sir are $600 million poorer All jokes aside, massive congrats to @mntruell and the @cursor_ai team!

How funny is to even think that - money finds people with money - favours find people who don't need them - opportunities find people with opportunities Abundance finds abundance!

There’s hierarchy on the internet when it comes to target audience. Let’s say - Your target audience is high attention span, high intelligence audience - you should be creating content on long form content platforms. - Your target audience is low attention span, impulsive audience - you should be creating content on short form content platforms. Again there’s a hierarchy in those platforms. Long form - Books > Blog > Podcast > YouTube Short form - X > LinkedIn > Instagram > TikTok The easiest way to build a name for yourself among high intelligence, high income audience is by - authoring a book - writing a blog - writing on X - writing on LinkedIn Very old school. But it’s common sense.

People scrolling social media relentlessly get dopamine in seeing other people win, so much that their mind starts believing that they are already winning. This feeling is the same feeling one gets after winning. This is why motivational content is counterproductive!

Elon Musk is the richest man alive at $1.2 Trillion Larry Page is the second richest man alive at $300 Billion Here’s the fun part - You’re closer to Larry Page than Larry Page is to Elon Musk! How awesome is that!

Free advice from an expensive psychologist: If you are an anxious person, do everything for fun. Go to a job interview for fun. Submit documents for fun. Start a blog for fun. Anxiety feeds on importance. Don't turn everything into a matter of life or death.

Don't think of the whole path and tire yourself. Only focus on the very next actionable step and get to work.

The first millionaire is not the first billionaire. The first billionaire is not the first trillionaire. The first trillionaire will not be the first quadrillionaire. How awesome is that!

This is the first time ever the money went to the factory floor. How beautifully written!
Elon just created 4,400 millionaires in a single day. 400 of them are now worth over $100 million. These aren't VCs. They're SpaceX employees, and the list includes welders, technicians, and cafeteria staff, because for two decades the company paid every level of the workforce in stock instead of higher salaries. Juan Hernandez immigrated from Mexico and took a $28 an hour contractor welding job in 2015. He says he didn't even know what SpaceX was. The company gave him a $10,000 equity grant and let him buy more shares through payroll deductions. That stake is now worth $880,000. Trevor Hise's parents wanted him to take a stable job at General Electric. He picked SpaceX instead, stayed 12 years, and accumulated over 100,000 shares. At the $135 listing price that's $13.5 million. He's 37 and semiretired. His words: "The magnitude of this has been ridiculous." The most telling detail came before the listing. Over 100 employees quietly banded together and negotiated a group wealth management deal covering up to $5 billion, because none of them had ever needed a wealth manager before. Software IPOs have minted millionaires for 30 years. This is the first one where the money went to the factory floor.
