mckay: 2 things that got the most amount of love, care & rewriting in a sense of 'this is a really high bar' it has to be right...would be the prologue & this relationship, these 2 chars, and wanting to layer it and wanting to build into it deception and truth in every moment

i want to get to know sauron even more outside his mythos actually and lets let galadriel be wrong without letting the consequences of her mistakes be gendered or lead to outcomes that keep her out of story

mcpayne: the idea of this relationship & friendship that is actually twisted in the end was a way to get to know sauron outside his mythos. and a way for galadriel to be wrong in a way that we feel was heroic. she's trying to do the right thing, but in a way that is prideful.

I genuinely can’t stop thinking about Tessa Thompson’s performance in HEDDA. Fascinating to watch her having the time of her life- just as Hedda delights herself orchestrating chaos, Thompson does the same in bringing that chaos to life. Truly all-timer work.
