Hoo boy, I’m quite pleased how this puzzle trio came out and they are… not easy. (One might say baffling?) Available now, along with dozens of other Bafflers in a variety of styles and difficulties in my store! chrisyates.net/puzzles

Reunited and it feels so good! (For those of you who haven't followed me for a couple decades, this is Vinyl Ball, which is a 3-foot wide, 350 lb. mass of scrap vinyl I made when I made signs as a day job & then lived in my yard until I moved from Boulder)

Stencil painting puzzle pieces takes a lot more time than my usual spatter n’ mottle technique, but I do enjoy the random process and how the results are often more interesting than something meticulously planned. Here’s a few WIP pics of the latest nonsense

You know you’re getting serious about pompom color curation when you start naming your blends. In the bowl is “Daytime Mardi Gras” and conveniently, the leftover colors on the right form the “1987 Columbia Ski Jacket” gamut.

Not surprisingly, this weird little 18 piece puzzle punches way up for its piece count - probably 5/10 for difficulty, 9/10 for wackiness
