What I like about this is it encourages scientific reading skills… careful reading, critical thinking to decide what is important, build vocabulary, and enable students to explain phenomena using science words

This week, we had a #vocabbattle for our next science mini-unit. While it was not about winning, it was about teamwork. Biggest success was engaging an "outside pin" - had never seen him so focused. He said after, "that was so fun." #sd36learn #cambridgelearns #gamifiedlearning
