An enormous thank you for all the good wishes on my final day as a broadcaster (sob...). I've been rather overwhelmed by it all. Going to miss @BBCRadio3 terribly, but will be beavering away behind the scenes in Arts & Music - with my radio tuned in to the wonderful @MannGeorgia

Taking my 94 yr-old grandmother for her Covid jab, and seeing so many people of that wartime generation, still dapper, elegant and dignified, all so cheerful and uncomplaining. Infinitely cheering amid the gloom

I had Covid 6 months ago and am still struggling with constant joint pain, fatigue and brain fog. There are many 1000s of us, and it helps to know you're not alone. @BBCRadio4 tonight at 8pm, File on 4, is all about 'Long Covid', and this is also helpful:
