Hey #teamtomo Here is EMPIAR-11830! Some 1800 tomograms from awesome #Chlamy (Chlamydomonas reinhardtii) using large scale #cryoET! In addition , all the metadata and preprocessing as #minimalproject to get you started right away! #TOMOMAN #bigdata #communityscience 1/

The new @EMDB_EMPIAR cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET) browser allows you to see proteins up close in the cellular environment. Over 1,800 high-resolution reconstructed tomograms from cryo-plasma-FIB milled Chlamydomonas reinhardtii cells are available. ebi.ac.uk/about/news/announc…

Raw data for 260 tilt series and preprocessed metadata from this work are now available at EMPIAR. Thank you @sw644 and EMPIAR team for getting this resource out to the community #Teamtomo. Ribosome annotations will also be soon released through EMPIAR. ebi.ac.uk/empiar/EMPIAR-1165…

This was the first time we prepared lamella from S. cerevisiae using plasmaFIB. We will soon release raw data, aligned tilt series, and all metadata with annotation for ribosomes for 260 tomograms we used in this work. #teamtomo

Most importantly, this was a fantastic joint work with @ramyarangan, @CryoSagar, @adamlerer, Jake Johnston, Ron Kelley, Martin Obr, and @AbhayKot. (Also pictured @FeathersRyan.) I’m incredibly lucky to work with such an amazing team starting out my group @PrincetonCS! 12/

This was a fantastic collaboration with @ZhongingAlong that we started a year ago at #ACA2022 meeting. A year later and with amazing @ramyarangan we have #cryoDRGN for in situ cryo-ET: cryoDRGN-ET 🔥
What do dynamic protein complexes look like *inside the cell*? Excited to share our work, led by superstar @ramyarangan, on cryoDRGN-ET, a new approach in the ❄️🐉 software for reconstructing and visualizing structures from in situ cryo-ET data. 1/ biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

Excitingly, in collaboration with @AbhayKot’s team at @ThermoFisher, we then analyzed a large cryo-ET dataset containing 120k subtomograms of the S. cerevisiae ribosome obtained from plasmaFIB milled lamella from #Arctis. 7/

Hey @HamleysOfficial is this how you treat your customers? I bought a rather expensive item in your Regent’s Street shop on the 28th of November and payed for shipment home. It never arrived?! You took the money of course! Phone support never solved it either! #WhatNow? #Lawyers?
