gonna make a surfing game for this year's #vibejam a breaking/barrel wave is impossible with traditional ocean shaders alone, so it took me a few days to get this (breakdown below)

The solution is to just keep it as a single unbroken surface, the vertices just deform into a lip that sits on the water surface instead of actually breaking through or beeing a seperate mesh, we will later cover this up with some vfx. a basic water material and skybox will do for now...
