Maybe Iβve missed some change in ticket selling in recent years, but in all the reporting about the βno hidden junk feesβ on concert/event tickets (which, omg, finally!), they keep talking about enabling consumers to comparison shopβ¦.which isβ¦not a thing?

Each venue contracts with a particular ticket seller (often the ticket seller *owns* the venue) and thatβs who has the tickets (aside from βresellerβ sites π). There is no comparison shopping. But at least weβll know up front how much itβs gonna hurt.
