Before MetaMask opens, the app calls simulateContract against the live contract state to catch possible reverts early.

Synapse Hypothesis Lab now has draft autosave.
The full form state, hypothesis text, domain, grade target, outcome, and citations, persists to localStorage on every keystroke.
Close the tab, refresh, come back later, and your draft restores exactly where you left off.
Once committed successfully, the draft clears automatically.

The app displays the current Base mainnet block number as a real-time pulse indicator, updating every block.
Clicking it opens the exact block on Basescan.
A small detail, but a clear signal: Synapse is live, on-chain, and connected to Base in real time.

Before a user signs, they should know what the transaction roughly costs.
This adds live ETH / Base gas pricing through public Coingecko DeFiLlama feeds and surfaces the estimate in the commit button tooltip. $SYN

Synapse is adding WalletConnect v2 support via wagmi/connectors.
Until now, wallet connection was limited to MetaMask injected. This opens the door for mobile wallet users through the WalletConnect QR modal: Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, Trust Wallet, and more.
