I can’t see me being that interested in the World Cup for at least another 2-3 weeks.

You can’t really argue with @Sjopinion10 can you? Just wind him up and watch him go. Always be right.

Two weeks since we last kicked a ball. Absolute silence from the club. No news on Rowett. No plan for how we recover from this mess. The silence, once again at this time of year, is deafening. This club is a joke. We should be very worried about the future.

Been to @DraytonManor today. What a waste of money. So many rides malfunctioning today. Queued for 1 hour for the wave today only for it to break down and close for the day. Similar issues with Thor, Gold Rush and Loki. Won’t go back.

Greg Davies is no Ricky Gervais when it comes to hosting. Boring scripted long winded opening speech. #baftas

God Greg Davies has sold himself out with this BAFTA hosting.

Watching the snooker, John Higgins complained about a noise from the audience. The ref told him the sound came from a persons' "breathing device", to which Higgins asked could they "turn it off"

I have always said Russell Bran is a fraud when it comes to claiming he has found god. It’s bullshit. Just a mask to cover the many things he is accused of. This is cringeworthy.

The club should be proactively making plans NOW for getting back up. Getting prepared to get a manager in asap. Do you think they are? I know what I think!

I’m of the view that if they’d carried on today, in their original formats, Grandstand, Question of Sport and Football Focus would still be going strong. They ruined all of them.
An incredible 52-year journey comes to an end. Following extensive consideration, BBC Sport has made the difficult decision to say goodbye to Football Focus at the end of this season. First broadcast in 1974, Football Focus is a testament to the brilliant team who have worked on it over the years and, of course, the audience. The programme has been a staple of the BBC’s football coverage for decades, providing fans with interviews, analysis and stories from across the game ahead of the weekend’s fixtures. But changing audience behaviours mean fans are now increasingly consuming football content in different ways and we need to respond appropriately as we face difficult decisions around how the licence fee is spent. Fans are accessing discussion, highlights, analysis and news through digital platforms and on-demand viewing and as viewing habits continue to evolve, it is right that BBC Sport adapts how it brings football coverage to the widest audiences across television, radio, online and to its extensive social platforms. BBC Sport boasts a strong football rights portfolio and is set to significantly expand its digital output this year growing content across BBC platforms, as well as a bold new slate of exclusive shows on YouTube. Featuring fresh formats, big personalities and more frequent, always-on content tailored for digital audiences, the expansion will bring fans closer to the game than ever before delivering more high-quality, accessible and engaging football coverage at scale. We will release further details on these plans in the coming months.

We get upset about a lot of stuff. It’s all trivial really.
A final piece of advice from Holly Butcher - written the day before she passed away from cancer at just 27: “It’s a strange thing knowing you’re going to die young. At 26, I thought I had time… To fall in love. Start a family. Grow old. But cancer doesn’t care about plans. Now, I understand how fragile life really is. Every single day is a gift, not a guarantee. I’m not writing this to scare you. I’m writing to remind you: really live. Stop stressing over little things. Be kind to your body- move it, nourish it, stop criticizing it. One day you’ll wish you had appreciated it. Go outside. Look at the sky. Feel the sun. Just be. Spend less time chasing “stuff” - more time making memories. Don’t skip moments with people you love. Laugh more. Write a note. Tell someone you love them. Complain less. Give more. Helping others brings more joy than anything you can buy. Be present. Put your phone down. Show up - really show up. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect body, or a perfect life. Just follow what makes your heart light up. Say no to what drains you. Make changes when you need to. And please - donate blood. I wouldn’t have had that extra year without it. And that year gave me memories I’ll hold close… forever. Thank you for reading this. Live your life well. And maybe… we’ll meet again someday.” Holly 🩷 Repost & share Holly’s important advice. ❤️
