To all clubs, over the past few days there have been some decisions made regarding sport in the UK. At this stage the 2020 season will commence on 18th April 2020 as planned. As you would expect, the SYSCL will follow the advice given by the YCB, ECB and Sport England.

We understand there’s a mountain of information and misinformation out in the public domain - particularly on social media - so we urge clubs to only follow the advice from medical experts.
We are unable to answer individual questions and clubs have the same information we have.

Congratulations to our clubs on a terrific season. There’s been ups and downs along the way, such is the nature of sport, but it’s been a great summer. We join in celebrating with those who have been promoted and commiserating with the relegated. Next year can’t come soon enough!
