So I just found out that Musk has taken over Twitter. I hope everyone I fallow goes somewhere else, like mastodon, because this platform needs needs to die now. We all know musky will let some very dangerous people back on here and it will be bad for America. Fuck

@signaldesktop please add support for SMS/MMS in your app. The default android message is garbage and I would like to communicate with people even if they aren't on signal since I already use your app.

I get that the point of Signal is that all messages are encrypted, but not everyone I know will switch to Signal... Possibly ever, especially iPhone users since they can do SMS from their computers like I want to with Signal. Because like I said, Android Message sucks!

Come to think of it, I actually know a few people who would love to switch if the desktop app supported unencrypted messages. Please 😁 I'll open a proxy server if you do, I have a good fiber connection 😃

Finally got around to watching #TopGunMaverick and they couldn't even be bothered to put in the greatest song in from the first movie. You've Lost That Loving Feeling. For shame, 1 star... Okay, 5/5, I wish I saw it in theaters now 😋

So the #EU decided that all cell phone must use USB-C connectors, but even as an Android user myself, I feel like this is a bad idea. Let me try to explain while too lazy to put pictures in here. To start, look at the female plug on your phone.

See that little piece of plastic sticking up in the middle? Clean around it. Seriously, even with the smallest thinnest paperclip or pin it is going to have a hard time fitting in there. Now imagine how flimsy that is. That is why I think Apple's connector is better.

Wow, I was watching a movie on @AmazonPrime and I stopped half way through to move to another room. Now I have to pay to see the last half of the movie because it is no longer on Prime... really?
