The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. for the first time in months i've spent my evening watching a movie instead of working. i should do that more often because now it's 23:20 and im not trying to fix anything. i'm relaxed. i feel recharged. it's nice.

In my day we didn't need "/grill-me", we would hire a 24 year old designer, loosely describe the feature, ask them to imagine the user interface and draw it for us, then come to a shared understanding by roasting the shit out of the designs in an hours long humiliation ritual

i was off for the entire week. i didn't read a single notification from work. i have no idea what's waiting for me tomorrow morning when i log back in. but i've relaxed so much that i refuse to take a look now. that's a monday morning problem, not a sunday afternoon one.
