The restoration exercise included planting of indigenous tree species such as Gravelia and Prunas Africana and grasses such as bamboo along 4.5 km of River Makhuba as other teams are in Kween District restoring River Sundet.
Over 9300 indigenous assorted seedlings have been donated by Towerco Africa and more entities are being encouraged to join.

There’s something about pulling up to your own gate, parking and just sitting in your car for an extra minute before you go inside. That feeling has nothing to do with anyone else. It’s just you and the machine you worked for.
And then there are the late night drives. The ones nobody knows about. No passenger. No destination. Just you, your music and a road that’s finally quiet enough to hear yourself think. Some of my clearest decisions in life were made between Ntinda and Entebbe Road on the expressway at 11pm with nothing but headlights and tail lights for company.
A car gives a man something the world rarely gives him. Silence on his own terms. Movement when he can’t sit still. Space when everything else feels crowded.
Cars are emotional in ways most people only understand once they’ve owned one they actually love…

Each household will receive two bins to help sort plastics from biodegradable waste.
The project by @NEMAUg & @The_IGC urges households to colour-code and label their waste using the free bins provided

Uganda and the European Union have been congratulated for leading the way as the first Parties to submit their 7th National Reports under the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity. These reports, required from all 196 Parties, track national progress toward implementing the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, adopted in 2022 at COP15.
