Here is our new species of Caddisfly published today in Zootaxa, New Zealand. This species is named in honor of Prof. Sivaramakrishnan for his outstanding work on aquatic insects of India.
Also, one species has been recorded for the first time in India.

New records of caddisflies (Trichoptera) from India Published in @tandfnewsroom. Both the species have been reported in Bangus Valley of Kashmir valley during our surveys. Thanks @ANRFIndia for the grant.

After years of hardwork, Mr. @Mr_AquibMajeed finally submitted his Ph.D. thesis today. He worked on the Caddisfly Family Hydropsychidae of north-west Himalaya, carried extensive surveys of dense jungles in J&K, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh & Uttarakhand for the collection purpose.
