Today, our government introduced new legislation to protect our kids online. Canada's Safe Social Media Act will hold social media and AI platforms accountable, make them safer, and restrict access to social media for children under 16. More and more kids are suffering from anxiety, depression, self-harm, and exploitation. To keep our kids safe, we have to ensure that our laws keep up with technology.

Earlier today, Pacific Caucus met with PM @MarkJCarney to discuss how we can continue delivering for British Columbia. Together, we’re working to grow the economy, create opportunities for workers and families, and invest in the communities that British Columbians call home.

Small businesses power our economy, and AI can help them do even more. Great to join entrepreneurs and business owners this morning at the Intuit More with AI Tour to talk about how AI can save time, boost productivity, and create new opportunities.

What a day! 👟 It was a pleasure to join the World Partnership Walk in Vancouver yesterday and see so many people come together in support of ending global poverty and building stronger communities around the world.

Indigenous Peoples have been stewards of the lands and waters in Canada since time immemorial. Today, they are helping to shape Canada’s future. This National Indigenous History Month, we honour the histories, cultures, languages, and enduring contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis across Canada. Together, we can lay a stronger foundation on which to build a better future for all.
