The December Playmaker of the Month is Tara Scranton, a dedicated volunteer for the Iowa City Area Sports Commission. Tara began volunteering for the Dan Gable Donnybrook when her sons wrestled at Iowa City West. From there on out, she has spent countless hours volunteering her time and scoring wrestling matches. Something that Tara enjoys about our sports community is the fans and athletes. She enjoys seeing the athletes take the tine to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans, but also the fans cheering in the stands! Tara's fulltime role is the 'Group Rooms Coordinator' at the Hyatt Regency in Coralville. In this role, she gets to work with teams coming to town to assist with their room block.
