Oscar Hammerstein II and Jerome Kern's SHOW BOAT premiered at the Ziegfeld Theatre on December 27, 1927. It has since been revived multiple times...and now that it has entered public domain, it's coming to NYU Skirball in a daring reimagining by @targetmargin
