I started my Monday at Pershing ES getting silly stringed by students and teachers recognizing first semester behavior and attendance goals met. I will do just about anything for our @WAWMSchools kids and staff.
Today the @WAWMSchools hosted @GovEvers and other area leaders in a school visit at Hoover Elementary School. It was a pleasure to have him read to Kindergarten students, take questions from 4th graders, and participate in a podcast with 3rd grade.
Honored to be a featured panelist at the Wisconsin State Educators Convention with other leaders from the state. I talked about the @WAWMSchools turnaround story and future strategic plans for school and leadership improvement through the SAIL process. @AWSALeaders1
Honored to serve as a panelist at the National Alliance Black School Educators (NABSE) conference in Atlanta during the “Iron Sharpens Iron” forum. The focus of the panel discussion was leadership mentoring and the importance of helping others reach their full potential.
