What AI art needs is more control over the process.
In music production, keys, knobs, sliders, touch pads, etc. give an interface for the human, enabling more expressive and tweakable experiences.
AI art needs more stuff to tweak than a text prompt.

A lot of non art people talk about how AI eliminates drudgery and allows us to "focus on being creative" As if they even know what that means.
They don't understand that the process is where the creativity happens. It's in all the small choices you make along the way.

The move from Reddit to Twitter brought rampant blocking of outside perspectives.
On Reddit, we had actual discussions related to things like protocol upgrades and living without a bank account.

Twitter worked for a while, sure. Plenty of direct discussions with involved individuals.
Regardless, serial blocking (and muting) eventually leads to echo chambers. Doesn’t happen overnight, but rather a little at a time..slowly chipping away.

ALT At one point in early April musk appears infatuated with his own idea to replace Twitter with a blockchain based payment and message system. In a string of texts to his brother, kimbal musk, he manages to convince himself that the idea would be a huge way to crush spam while preserving free speech. In this preposterous scenario users would have to pay a fractional amount of the cryptocurrency dogecoin to post or retweet. Roughly 10 days later musk sends a different text noting that “blockchain Twitter isn’t possible”

What actually happened: During a suicide call, a Detroit cop shot their partner while aiming *at a dog,* who did not even belong to the person police were there to see.
Detroit cops do this a lot. You would not know from this article.
