I know I keep harping on it but it again bears repeating: the Stars have never had a fully healthy roster for a single day since they acquired Rantanen. It's wild to think about more than a year later we STILL don't know what this roster looks like fully operational.

The Cap casualties made this being a stepback year a real possibility. The injuries in retrospect basically guaranteed it.
Re-sign Robo and Mav, figure out the rest from there, bet that you can't be THAT injured all year again and let's ride in the Fall.
Again, the Stars losing to MIN sucked. A lot.

The sad irony is while this is validation for not making rash decisions based on a playoff loss, that it's just as much about what happens around you as it is your own roster, and you still make the Rantanen trade eight days a week, god, the Stars needed a Stank this season

Offense isn't 2014-level down bad, but it's not far off. Most of the bats you can reasonably acquire now are closer to Alec Bohm than they are to Bryce.
Which is not to say Adell or Suzuki wouldn't be a big upgrade, they absolutely would. But we also need to be realistic.
