Join us in saying congrats to our final award winner, the Calm Air Team of the Year, the 2024-25 @BUBobcats Men’s Volleyball team - Volleyball - Brandon 🏐 The Bobcats delivered a historic 2024–25 season, capturing the @USPORTSca Men's Volleyball Championship — the first national title in program history and @BrandonUni's first since 1996. Entering as the eighth seed after a sixth-place regular season finish, the Bobcats rose to the occasion on the national stage, defeating higher-ranked opponents with composure and resilience. Championship MVP Philipp Lauter led the way, with Lauter, Liam Pauls, and Riley Grusing all named tournament all-stars. The team's remarkable run extended beyond the championship, as they represented Canada at the NORCECA Men's Final Six tournament in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and were named the 2025 Mike Jones Team of the Year by the Brandon Sun. Their breakthrough season redefined the program and ignited pride across the university and the broader Manitoba volleyball community.
