I am a computer engineer that has a passion for technology, tea and coffee. I am blogging about my various projects. My interests include SDR, FPGAs, and DSP
Just released my second iOS app called Wholegrain! It’s a film emulation and editing app with custom designed gain synthesis to give photos the look and feel of film 🎞️
The RF world is insane.
Researchers recovered AES-128 keys from a Bluetooth chip by listening to its own antenna from 10 meters away.
Crypto-engine switching noise couples into the RF chain, rides the 2.4 GHz carrier, and leaks out as radio.

Been seeing a lot of iOS apps run and download local llm models for running chats and features but given the space required I thought there should be a common package for sharing models, so I made one! It’s called SharedModelKit on GitHub now @GithubProjects
Took a break from iOS app dev to get back to some electronics! Brushed off an old pi pico, wired up a few buttons and a display to control an old Bronica ETR lens shutter speed. It works but I need to figure out some better connectors for the lens pins…
