They did however arrive in military regalia, some wearing uniforms and many wearing red berets; they did vandalise property; they did litter as far and wide as they possibly could; they did threaten to cleanse the community of its inhabitants and they did enthusiastically chant about exterminating Boers and farmers. Is "peaceful" really the best word to describe such a march?
