Four things shape our approach: - Beta (May 31) isn't transactional - it's for founding sellers to build storefronts and populate inventory. Marketplace layer goes live post Beta-launch, meaning we launch with stocked stores (and not an empty marketplace). - Founding sellers carry audience: Multiple verified content creators in the group bring existing followers with them; the referral program is funneling new inbound through hobby networks. - Trax Tracker - free multi-source comp pricing - draws buyer-curious traffic on its own. - Less seller dilution: eBay has millions of sellers competing for buyer attention; Trax launches with ~30 vetted founding sellers. Each Trax sale faces a fraction of the supply-side competition - so modest buyer traffic per seller still drives real sales velocity. While eBay will of course allow for more eyes overall, the launch system & infrastructure we have in place should work to generate a fair amount of marketplace traffic come Trax’s full-launch (late summer/ early fall).
