Granite City Regional Recap!
Granite City was full of fun as well as tough competition. At this regional, our team played well and qualified, securing our tickets to both Houston and State. Next week, we will play in the Daly Division!
FRC recognizes and celebrates teams that excel at sensing their surroundings, positioning themselves, and completing tasks without driver input. When our team, F.R.E.D., was at Granite City Regional (GCR), we had the privilege of winning this award, propelling us towards Champs.
Today team FRED put together 240 face shields. These were both 3D printed and injection molded. Thanks to Marvin for helping make this possible. These all headed out to the front line in Roseau county.
One of our students is starting to gear up with several new 3D printed masks. Tereza has been active printing and scaling masks. We are sharing the designs with other local robotics teams as well. Stay tuned for more from our Northern Robotics programs.
What does Star Wars Bingo and FRED have in common? A great time at the Warroad Care Center! Everyone had so much fun hearing about FRED and some of the residents even got the chance to drive the robot. 😁
Attention all followers! We want to include YOU in this year’s chairman’s video. We are looking for any pictures involving alumni, younger kids, or ANYONE in Fred gear (buffalo plaid)! Email your photos to teamfred2883@gmail.com to be entered into a drawing.
2020 kick off day! Our team spent the day brainstorming on ideas for the robot, started building field elements, and discussed PR responsibilities. We are excited to see what we come up with for this year’s game Infinite Recharge! #FRC#Robotics
Congratulations to @frc5991, @frc4009, and @frc2175 on your second place finish at the state competition this season! It was an honor to compete against you!
