2. In 2009, YMO (as HASYMO) created the song "Good Morning, Good Night" for the NTT DoCoMo NEC N-04A commercial. The phone itself has 14 original ringtones by HASYMO. The ringtones aren't on the internet, but the song is: youtube.com/watch?v=GzuwrnkE…

YMO is one of my favorite electronic bands, so I hope this was insightful! They have influenced lots of musicians especially game composers - and certainly many ringtone/tech product composers as well.

In the 2000s, Crypton Future Media, best known for making Vocaloid - created ringtones in SMAF format for Yamaha's MA chips, and released CDs to promote the sites. Many of these got included on Japanese phones by manufacturers such as Sharp and Sony Ericsson. (1/6)
