@AirCanada why is that you call my wife and I back… 3 days later just to say we need to talk to a supervisor and put us on hold for 45 minutes. You cancelled my flight to Calgary, I would have missed the opportunity to be with my mother as she died…

If I didn’t book with another airline. You cancelled my flight, the delay would have been more than 3 hrs, I had to switch airlines… now you won’t give me a reason a refund. This why the APPA exists. @AirCanada @CTVNews @Transport_gc

I support the decision of the German soccer club. In the current situation, when the US president supports world dictators and criminals and does not comply with and circumvents the decisions of the Supreme Court, it is dangerous to represent a foreign club and country in the USA
NEW: Top German soccer club Werder Bremen has canceled a planned trip to the United States, including a planned game in St. Paul, saying President Trump’s policies and “playing in a city where people are being shot” don’t fit their values, referring to ICE actions in Minnesota.

The @nytimes compares Ontario’s anti-tariff commercial with Ronald Reagan’s original 1987 radio address. The organic media coverage of this commercial far surpasses the potential reach of the $75 Million Ontario taxpayers were slated to spend. #onpoli

So you want a name different from your given name because you feel it more accurately reflects your identity? Interesting
Per the White House - legally it is still the Department of Defense. The Department of War is a "secondary title." So, it's a nickname.

Hey @AirCanada will you please explain to me the fundamental objection to not paying flight attendants for work they care required to perform? I mean corporate staff does work for free, so why should FAs. Explain it to me like I’m 5 @cupenat

We are saddened by the passing of Jim Lovell, commander of Apollo 13 and a four-time spaceflight veteran. Lovell's life and work inspired millions. His courage under pressure helped forge our path to the Moon and beyond—a journey that continues today. go.nasa.gov/41tbrpq

Yes you read that right, WE (The union) had to provide this home with heaters so our members and the residents they care for there are not working and living in freezing temperatures #onpoli
Yesterday we delivered large space heaters to bring warmth and relief to kitchen staff left in freezing conditions by Southbridge’s Orchard Villa when the nursing home corporation failed to address an ongoing outage of the heating system.  seiuhealthcare.ca/southbridg…

If you live in Barrie, Brampton, Brantford, Cambridge, Chatham-Kent, Clarington, Oakville, Oshawa, Pickering, St. Catherines, Sudbury, or Windsor, you need to be asking why your mayor & councillors feel they are entitled to violate the charter of people in your cities! @OFLabour
12 Ontario Mayors are formally requesting that @fordnation invoke the notwithstanding clause to suspend encampment residents' Charter-protected rights so that they can be removed from encampments. The letter cites the Grants Pass Supreme Court decision in the U.S., which allows local governments to criminalize unhoused people in lieu of building housing and shelter, or offering services. It's Draconian and represents an abdication of government responsibility for the welfare of homeless people. This letter comes a day after @fordnation told @ONBigCityMayors to "have the backbone" to formally ask him to use the notwithstanding clause. Ford has invoked the clause three times, twice successfully to both force back-to-work legislation and to limit criticism of his government through third-party advertising. With the Mayors of Barrie, Brampton, Brantford, Cambridge, Chatham-Kent, Clarington, Oakville, Oshawa, Pickering, St. Catherines, Sudbury, and Windsor taking responsibility for the ask, Ford could very well table legislation that invokes the notwithstanding clause to evict encampments, without municipalities needing to offer resources like shelter. Even if you don't care about homeless people, you should be greatly alarmed that entire demographic groups are being targeted to have their Charter rights removed. Who's next?
