So Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee REMASTERED has some hands on impression articles out in the wild.
1. Showa MechaGodzilla is factually replacing Heisei MechaGodzilla to correct the franchise accuracy of alien war machine MG being Showa MG.
2. "Online Multiplayer is 1v1", but there will still be local 4 player battles. //NOTE; Th is is an early access preview, PS STORE still has 4 player online multiplayer noted. Likely the feature had not been available during hands on.
3. Environments are slightly bigger, with more detailed building destruction on a level that couldn't be done before in the past.
4. No word on the survival horror that is Mothra Air Strike
