As we mourn the loss of Winter, we can enjoy this snowbound music video I directed for @tenementinhell one more time...

Episode 167 : This week on the pod we’re joined by Amos Pitsch of the band Dusk & also of Tenement. We talked about NRBQ’s 1972 album, “Scraps.”
We chat about the history of the band, the definition of power pop and branching out with your songwriting. linktr.ee/Spinningoutpod
It was -15 outside and this was an ingested warehouse-ish space so it was just totally miserable in the venue. Tenement went on last and it was already really late I think. Everyone still went nuts anyways. The image of Graham from Mellow Harsher going ape to their set is vivid.
One of the most memorable shows I went to in WI was the grind band Mellow Harsher playing with this noise-punk band called Vickers that lit a bucket of hair on fire for the whole set, followed by prog/hardcore masters Scaphe and Tenement played for maybe 12 minutes. Unreal show.
What's a perfect album that came out when you were 21?
Man, when we walk down the hallowed halls of all-time 5 star albums, Napalm Dream is a stand out among the best of the best.
