Exactly the right approach WM. The £/pupil is the important metric. Harris CEO = £12/pupil, Leigh = £18/pupil on 2024 salaries. The real scandal is with much smaller trusts still paying large salaries. There are trusts where the CEO salary is far more per pupil than these…
Pedantic point, but Harris listed here as sixth-biggest academy trust, presumably based on no of schools.I go on pupil numbers, more clearly linked to income and staff nos, which has long put it 2nd.

It's the third time that they know of.
They have, once again, been very ill.
They are concerned about the impact of multiple infections on their health.
They feel their baseline health has deteriorated.

Well done @RachelReevesMP @Keir_Starmer after 183 years of being a school #MountStMarys #TheMount in 6 months you have managed to shut it leaving 500 and kids and their teachers with no school to go to and parents desperately trying find places in schools in the state system which we all have to pay for through more tax.

Why don't teachers consider the air quality in classrooms when there are so many airborne viruses and we are in an ongoing pandemic?
I spoke to my school about benefits of improving air quality. They say we are following guidance. Yet lots of sickness. If we can improve why not?

Colleague’s child (in 20s I believe) currently in hospital on IV abx with pneumonia. Docs actually told them that they’ve seen a noticeable increase in this since Covid has been around. And people wonder why I still 😷 Hoping that they pull through and make full recovery.

This is me playing extreme devil’s advocate but it does seem ironic that when there was a threat that the NHS would collapse in 2020, profound societal changes were introduced. Now that it is absolutely collapsing, it appears the new protocol is simply to watch it happen
