The creative use of the adaptive island on the iPhone 14 is pretty amazing. Shout out to @syntaxfm for being a great morning kid drop off podcast!

Life is always an adventure. Like when you travel for work, then feel like crap, sit in urgent care for an hour, wait for pharmacies to open, get a rapid Covid test (negative 🙌), get your prescriptions, cancel first meetings of the day, but still smile through all of it!!

If you ever feel tempted to write `!!!someVariable` in javascriptI implore to use `!Boolean(someVariable)` instead. Readability is a big part of what we do! #javascript

Overturning Roe v. Wade and denying women the right to control their own bodies is an outrage and in defiance of what the American people want. Democrats must now end the filibuster in the Senate, codify Roe v. Wade, and once again make abortion legal and safe.

I don’t post political stuff very often. I have three daughters. Women have a right to do whatever they want with their bodies. The fact that many attempt to govern what they can and can’t do makes absolutely zero sense. Reproductive rights are basic human rights.

I know GitHub Markdown gets a lot of flack for its...eccentricities. But, we can all agree that we're ecstatic that it's not Jira "Markdown", right?

@withgraphite I'm loving using graphite.dev! It's been awesome so far. A feature request for setting up which repos I want to watch: by github team. I really want to watch all of my team repos, (100s 😅) but selecting them all individually hurts.

Worth noting I'm in an org with thousands of repos. I don't want to crush you guys with that many repos to watch, but currently it's the only way I'm getting everything I need 😔

I don't get the fear of dependencies. Use them selectively, but don't be afraid of them FFS. Imagine other engineers acting like this. "I don't want to rely on a factory to send me metal tubes so I'm going to extrude my own aluminum instead!"

Sometimes I have a good subject for a blog but struggle to prepare the reader with a good framing. Self, the framing is the post! Follow up with the original idea as "next in a series"

curious CSS hack that made me go from "wut?" to a proper "a-ha" moment: instead of !important, you can incrementally increase class rules by simply repeating X times the same class within the same element: .class-name.class-name { stronger: rule; } codepen.io/WebReflection/pen…
I really hope we can finally get other browser engines on iOS. The monopoly Apple has been holding on browsers for iOS needs to end. techradar.com/news/new-eu-ru…
